Since I do not know the specifics of what you are trying to do, I can tell you this much. The video inputs for the rear entertainment system support composite NTSC & PAL video formats only as does the Alpine DVD/VCD player fitted in the trunk. If you are feeding the NAV screen, you will be limited by whatever device you have fitted to the wiring harness, but the factory wiring to the display is RGB + sync & VGA resolution.

I Installed the video module and now I want to start making somedvd discs w like 3 or 4 movies on each disk. So I'm going to encode the video files I have to the screens native resolution and burn them

Calisto is correct. However keep in mind those are 20" May have reported that going to that size impacts the ride quality of the vehicle. I have 19" Aurigas and pleased with the results.

Wheel style can be a personal preference and even though those are Jag wheels, I never thought they suited the body style at all. Have you looked at Sepangs? Very classy and sporty. Also the Kasuga is a 20" wheels and looks good. Take a look also at Sabre, Tobia and Selena. Just google search them or ebay for pics.

If you are going to use the Alpine DVD player, it will not play burned discs, says so in the handbook and I have tried myself

Why not just get a media player with hard drive and video out to the A/V jacks?

If your rear seat passengers have rear entertainment screens and you've got your eyes on the road, who's watching the movie on the nav screen? Your passenger I hope? Will it synch with the rear entertainment screens?

The stock alpine DVD player 100% guaranteed works with burned DVDs as I've made multiple discs thus far ... Greg yes all screens are now synched together. I'm even able to hook up iPhone to it and view it on all screens.. And no I actually watch the screen at red lights and I glance sat it in traffic. Lol

Well, damn, I never got it to work. :/ But being that the transport is located in the trunk and the only time I use it is on long drives, I always found it somewhat useless. Fortunately there are 2 inputs located in the cabin, you can even watch 2 different movies at the same time and as many as you have stored on the media player!
