Default Anyone Tried These Products?

Has anyone tried these products? Both from the Adamesh website.

Jaguar X358 Powerflex High Performance Complete Front & Rear Bush Kit

Jaguar X358 LED Day Time Running & Fog Lights - Style 1

Jaguar X358 LED Day Time Running & Fog Lights - Style 2

I was looking for the exhaust tips that JimC64 put on his car and saw these other items. One of the fogs (Style 2) has a side light that comes on with the turn signals, which looks interesting.

I'm having trouble with a steering shimmy. I had some of the Bushings replaced but saw the full set of Powerflex (Polyurethane?) Bushings. Has anyone had experience with them?

Default No direct experience.

I have heard other comment that the poly bushings squeak. Not right away, but after some use.
Also, the complete bushing kit is short eight bushings. The front lower outside bushings for the straight and the curved arms. The rear is missing two bushings on the lower, the diagram lists these as 11 and 12.
If I was going with a rebush I would swap out these missing bushings.
This misses two other areas. The boots on the ball joints disintegrate just like the control arm bushings. And the rear toe adjusters fail. I swapped the tie rod ends and the sway bar links too.

I agree with Panelhead and add that the poly bushings are much harder and are going to change the steering/suspension dynamics to some degree. The original bushings being rubber were designed to absorb road vibration etc to some extent and the poly won't.

I agree that hard bushings should be used on race cars, and not luxury cars. I wasn't sure if that's what they were.

Any input on the fogs?

have exchanged all the bushes to powerflex except of the two damper bushes that are only available as OE replacements. as i know those PU bushes from others cars no problem with them. they should outlast the car. of course many say those will squeak .... you will get a harsh ride etc. etc. have driven the car before and after and there is no difference. if you want to have a difference in ride quality get some 17" wheels despite of that i think those bushes are a good investment and there are no more fails in the future.

That's good to hear, gacksen. If I find more bushings that need replacement, I will give them some consideration. I would assume that the harder bushings would transmit more suspension noise, vibration and harshness into the chassis and rubber would isolate it more.

So, has anyone tried or seen the fogs with the built in DRL's?

I'm using fog light version 3 .
the halo looks beautiful at night ,
the fog/DLR led's are ridicules bright at night ,
quality wise they are solid finned alloy back half with good thick glass lens .
but not sealed very well , mine fog up in the rain a bit . might be why there called fog lights .
im planning on running a non chinese bead of sealant around the glass perimeter to hopefully over come this otherwise only issue .
