Anyone try Scorpion Verde tires?
I have blizzaks on my car now, and am going to run them through winter, and probably until they wear down and I am looking for a replacement tire.
I HATE summer tires. Horrible idea and should be banned as unsafe. I don't drive fast and could not care less about performance at the margins.
What I do care about is wet traction and handling. I would also like some good tread life and quiet ride and no teeth jarring ride or early chopping of the tires causing vibrations. I also would not want to spend more than I have to for tires.
I know they are H rated and designed for SUV or crossover applications, but the load range is the same as the stock pirellis so it is not like I am running a D load range truck tire.
They are also only $150 each and have a 600 wear rating. Any thoughts or experiences? I have continental DWS on my lotus and like them, but I don't know how they will wear. I previous ran khumo asx and thought they were good but I don't like seeing khumo on the side of the tires. I had the stock continental all seasons on a BMW and liked them.
