Default Arden Tuner parts - any experience?

Hi,

Has anyone purchased Arden parts or had Arden parts installed on their Jaguar? How was the quality and fit?

I am interested in potential XJ upgrades like the front and rear bumper body kits, the mesh grills, and the 21" Sportline wheels.

I am also interested in potential XJ interior upgrades like wood bezels for the automatic door switches and leather to replace the wool that goes around each of the corner door speakers. I understand Arden has a dedicated wood and connolly leather upholstery shop and are able to perform these customized services.

Regards,

Hi,

I have a couple of Arden parts on my car.. I have the wheels which are gorgeous BUT bend very very easily. Couple of pics..

I also have the footrests but have not had time to fit them yet.

I've no knowledge of there bodykits or their interior upgrades but they always seem ridiculously expensive.

Beavis,

Beautiful car and thank you for the information about the wheels.

By bending am assuming you are referring to the edge of the rims if you hit a pothole or curb, because of the low profile?

Regards,

Yes, that's right. A different choice in tyre may of helped a touch. The Conti's on the front dont protect the wheels nearly as much as the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx's on the back.

Of course, if the roads are good then there's no need to worry! What I will say is that I get lots of compliments about them.

I have fitted Adamesh trim parts: -
  • stainless steel front mesh grills - perfect fit took about 10 minutes, and still looking good
  • leapers on left and right front wings, just behind the wheel arch low down. These come handed and look really good. They stick on and can be removed when the chrome gets a bit grotty. I'm on my second set due to road salt damage
  • rear chrome trims to rear light units. I put these on because I managed to damage the black surround, (my car is a Sport). These are still in perfect nick.

I have quite a few Arden upgrades on my car as you can see in the photos. They are not cheap but top notch. Like the old Rolls Royce slogan, the quality will remain when the price is forgotten.

Beautiful Arden installation on your XKR.

I think I'm going to go ahead and get some items installed next year.
