Arnott suspension conversion

Arnott suspension conversion
Ok guys, I recently just installed the air/spring conversion kit from Arnott on my 2004 Jaguar XJ8 and just wanted to give a little feedback.
First, I consider myself a pretty average backyard mechanic and the install was not bad at all. Took me about 5.5 hours all together and didn't really come across many issues (except for snapping a front lower control arm bolt). Although an extra set of hands is super helpful when trying to line up the struts up to the holes at the top.
As for the ride, I am super happy with it. Obviously it is a little rougher than the air suspension, but relatively it isn't bad AT ALL. I actually am starting to quite like feeling my wheels to the road feeling more and more. I've installed many springs on different cars and so I'm aware of what good/bad springs for like. These are definitely worth the money and time.
As for the kit, I ended up paying ~$1,120 on autopartswarehouse.com for it. Free and quick shipping and handling with a limited lifetime warranty. Came with an easy instruction book on how to erase the warning lights and bypass the computer. Only extra $$ I had to spend is on the bolt I broke and of course the alignment afterwards.
Overall, I'm extremely happy with the results and happy to have avoided any frustrating air suspension related problems. Opposed to paying ~$500 for just my one busted front strut, this was the most economical fix FOR ME. I understand others reasonings for wanting to keep the air suspension, but personally I didn't go that route. I give the kit and Arnott two thumbs up.
