Default Arnott Suspension Replacement - Shop Time?

Had a fresh pair of OEM rebuilt Arnotts delivered to my porch today, so I am wondering how long installation should take at my local independent installer.

Does anyone have access to an estimate or recall how many shop-hours the front replacement should take?

Thanks-
-mag

Default Suspension time

Took me a couple hours to do one. My first, on the floor in my garage.
I'm sure the Indy will be able to beat that...
Nice instructions, btw.
You will love the results.

There's a nifty YouTube video put up by Arnott that details the R&R step by step. I did one side myself in less than an hour. It's a cinch with the right tools.

Here's some pics from when I pulled the wheels to verify sport (red dot) or comfort (green dot).

Note the bar code on the driver's shock-does this seem to be an OEM shock or has this one already been replaced? (aftermarket?)

thanks-

I can pull the alldata estimator info for you on Monday Morning, unless I stop by the shop tomorrow. That's pretty much the industry standard as far as shop time.

Take care,

George

Hey,

Sorry for the delay. I haven't been at the shop much.

So Mitchell Estimator puts R&R front struts on an 04 xj8 at 1.2 hours per side flat rate.

So whatever the shop rate is x 2.4 should cover it.

Take care,

George

Default Progress.

Old shock (before) and New shock (after) in place. One more side to go...

Ride height sensor was on the driver's side. For some reason, I thought that it was on the passenger side.

Thanks
