Default Attack of the Kragle - fuel injectors

I have started the manifiold teardown on my AJ33 4.2 NA to clear the laundy list of stuff to correct the too lean bank A & B on my '05 X350.

I knew the dreaded previous machanic / owner had glued the fuel injector connectors in place, so I ordered new connectors online that only cost about $1.25 each.

I had to break pieces of the glued on old injector connector housing and carefully extract the individual wires.

The black in the photos on the orange injectors is the plastic from the connectors still .
You can see pieces of the connector still in place inside the injector that I am soaking in carburetor cleaner and will finish the release of the pieces.

Then I will give them a good cleaning with inject spray pattern and volume check with my manual injector cleaning setup.

Here is the kicker: The idiot glued the connector onto the MAP sensor too!!! ARGH!!! That I had to unscrew from the back of the intake manifold so I could remove the intake manifold.

Land Rover manifold kit coming from British Parts Unlimited in SLC.
