Hello All,

I'm in the process of retrofitting to the Sat/Nav in my 2004 XJR and I just want to know it the Climate control module is the same as in the non-Sat/Nav cars. If so, does anyone have the part number. I can't seem to find any info.

They are different. The ones without Nav just have a control panel, which is also the module itself. The ones with Nav, have a " remote" mounted climate control module, which is fastened to the side of the air distribution box. As far as part numbers go, not sure..... There are a few members on here with access to JPC, if not already listed with the forum.
#2 is A/C Control without Nav, #3 is with Nav, and #11 is the remote control module with Nav

I may not have been clear. #11 is what I am inquiring about. Are these units different depending on Nav or Non-Nav?

 

You're welcome. They are different in the location. In the picture - #2 is the actual control module as well. #3 is just the touch screen/radio. #11 is just the module, remotely mounted because of the touch screen for the NAV. I don't know what the part numbers are, but they wont be the same if that's what you're after. Connectors, I'm not sure if they would be the same. You could take the circuit board out of the non-Nav set up ( #2) and remotely locate it under the dash, but I bet the wiring harness behind the dash is probably different as well.
