Aux-in --can you sacrifice the CD-changer to make an aux-in jack?
Is it possible to remove the CD-changer in the trunk (2004 XJR) and replace it with a third-party device of some kind that will plug into the X350 audio system just as the CD-changer did EXCEPT... instead of having a CD-changer it has a auxiliary input jack to plug in a tablet/mp3 device?
The ACM module seems hard to find and the installation a little much for someone that does not know these cars at all. (Maybe I'm wrong on this count. If someone in L.A. area wants to help, I'd appreciate it.) I thought that if I'm willing to take out the CD-changer this might give some advantage. Maybe I could run an aux cable from the trunk to the mid-console without it looking too bad.
Any thoughts?

Does anyone make a component that will replace the CD changer?

This is the solution . . .
via Amazon . . . You can always send it back if it doesn't meet your needs . . .
