Bad ground?

Bad ground?
Driving along all seems well, when the dash lit up with a variety of colors.
Went into limp mode, with a variety of electrical issues.
The blower for air conditioning quit, turn signals flashed fast, like a bad bulb.
Trans fault, no abs, no traction control, plus others on dash.
Got it home in the garage, good thing to because now it doesn't want to start
Seems i have read about this type of thing being a bad ground.
Any ideas which one would be helpful when things cool down.

Well kids went back out, cooled down the car starts, but still lights the dash up.
Cleaned the three ground points behind the headlights in front.
As well as those in the trunk, with no change.
Still getting the trans fault, no abs, traction control as well as another or two.
Damned headlight wire to hold bulb in fell out getting at lower ground.
The fun just keeps getting better, helpful suggestions appreciated.

Low voltage on many, & in my haste after the car starting, decided to clear a gang to see what was new.
But being an 04, the icarsoft reader gets NO engine module information, but does read trans, as well as the others
Well not a great idea, as car does not want to start again.
Hooked a battery charger, will see what the morning brings.
The good news, got the wire clip in the headlight assembly back in place, now the headlight parts are back in place.
The three grounding points up front are cleaned & back together, slightly dirtier than those in the trunk, but not badly corroded.
Almost seems like it has to be ground somewhere, with all the lights on at once, but finding it appears to be the problem.
Battery is approaching two years old, so we'll see if charging it makes a difference.
When it gets started again will try to see what codes pop up
Even says i need oil, which it doesn't, W T F

Wingrider, what version iCarsoft do you have? I have LR V1.0 and if I select the Check OBD11 menu, I get the Monitor Overview screen and if I then press Enter again, I get OBD11 Diagnostics? Fully functional?

i930 is the model i have Ray, it checks all sorts of things, even the stereo.
Reads the eight parameters, for the check engine light, as they all do.
Went out an hour or so ago, the car started right up, after charging the battery overnight, the lights went out..
So did cleaning the grounds, up front, & in the trunk, & then charging do the trick, is my battery on the way out, or do i have another issue?
Time, & driving will tell, i will check the voltage output when the charger finishes its job.

Or if the grounds were that bad, it could have affected the charging. Check charging voltages both at the battery and if you can at the alt after recharged. I'm still chasing charging/drain issues that only happen in the winter when it gets really cold overnight. My Ctech overcomes the issues, but is not the cure. This is with a new battery fully charged.

Looks like i spoke too soon, at 11.86 v, alternator isn't putting out enough.
I switched battery into the other Jag, & it charged right up.
The good 07 battery into the 04, charged at 11.86, same as the other battery
Have another alternator, & starter, looks like the time to install them.
