Bad X350 y2007 XJ8 Sovereign functioning modules
Hello all,
Recently, I took my XJ8 Sovereign X350 y2007 cat to replace a water hose that was torn and leaking.
After mechanic inspection, customer service representative told that this AJ811763 - Engine Coolant Hose location is beneath
the intake manifold and that after disassembling the intake manifold it is necessary to replace the two seals of the intake manifold
AJ89062 - JAGUAR INLET MANIFOLD GASKET.
Somehow, probably due to "unskilled mechanics", (whom did not familiar with that XJ8 vehicle models), one, (or more), of them caused
an electric short in cat's main computer cat's electronic system and from then on... whole garage team simply could not ignite the cat back
and garage manager told me that it's necessary to re-burn computer software again.
Because the mechanics were definitely unskilled care at that XJ8 vehicle model, the cat left in the garage for 9 (!!!) months until the main
computer re-burn was succeeded and it was able to start cat's engine back, as at bright, clear, sunny days era, before.
But, from that point forward, a large number of cat's modules, (that functioned adequately prior that main computer incident), simply stopped
functioning like: currently, it's possible to start cat's engine without activation required code, sometimes the computer sends a messages of
"Vehicle Too Low/Cruise Not Available/Air Suspension Fault", can't synchronize a cell phone to cat's BT system due to permanent
"Phone Not Fitted" message, also trunk's CD changer system doesn't work aswell, etc.
add om that, during driving, I noticed that when computer delivered/announced "Air Suspension Fault", after several hours of parking, all
4 cat's, ("Bilstein" model), shock absorbers, (which all 4 are only 3-4 years old), the air inside is simply deflates and the cat sinks.
My question is, how can I get main computer software copy, (fits my XJ8 Sovereign X350 y2007) and is it possible re-burn it again by myself?
Thank you all for your patience and help.
Bye.

Sorry to hear about all your problems.
If you do not have a scanner find a good independent mech
who can scan the vehicle and report the fault codes here.
The hose that needed to be replaced is the one we call the valley hose
for obvious reasons.
