I simply pulled fuses 12 & 52 out of the boot fusebox before installing. Having said this, I think that if your X350 is 2006 or later, you may also have to do more?
I already had these: 20pcs Metal Film Resistor 1W 1% 1K ohm 1Kohm 1KΩ | eBay previously fitted to all four Air Spring electronic damper connections to remove all CATS error messages.
I had already replaced an Air Spring with aftermaket a couple of years ago, so CATS was not working anyway...Unless there is any benefit to having CATS functional on just 3 corners??

Snowcone551...A work in progress...
I imagine that when these cars were new, their Air Spring and electronically-controlled dampers would have been unmatchable? However, my Jag has done 180,000 km and the three remaining oem bags and dampers are shot; they clunked and banged over every obstruction, despite my renewal of all suspension bushings etc.
When I removed the rear right-hand-side boot covering, the shock under there had a large conical-shaped pile of rubber 'dust' sat upon its electrical connection; I am assuming the remains of the top-seal!
Every morning, my car was taking two complete cycles of the (re-ringed) compressor, just to get up off of 'Vehicle Too Low'.
My new damper adjustment has 15 'clicks' left to soft and 15 clicks right to hard. I had them set at neutral on day one, but I experienced a small 'Bump Stop' when going (perhaps a little too fast in celebration) over a particularly high road hump (or 'sleeping policeman' as we in the UK like to call them). Accordingly, I have set them at 5 clicks towards hard and that has removed that particular bump stop? If this tendency persists, I may try raising all round by a centimeter?
I will need to get some miles under her keel to answer your question properly, but what I can say is that the ride I have now is unquestionably much, much better than that from my poor old tired, worked-out Air Shocks!!
