Default Belly pan :(

My belly pan got hung up on a kerb I damaged it backing up off the kerb.

Couple of questions:

Can I take it off myself?

Should I replace it?

Yes you can replace it. Only common hand tools required. You will need ramps or jack stands.
Yes you should replace it as it's important for high speed driving/handeling.
Interesting question is; what other benefits accrue from use of belly pan? Perhaps someone else can shed a little light on this.

Actually I should be more clear - the belly pan is fine, it''s the engine bay undertraythat I've got zip-tied up since my hang up on a kerb.

It probably also affects proper cooling/airflow into the engine at highway speeds.
