Default Bluetooth FM Radio Transmitter?

Hello. I have a 2006 Jaguar XJ8 and currently have one of those Bluetooth FM radio transmitters that plugs into the lighter so I can stream songs from my phone or from a USB stick. But the thing is pretty big. So, my question is - do they make one of these that could actually fit behind the door that closes over the ashtray while it's plugged in? Or is there a better solution that looks good in the car? I'm open to a variety of ideas.

they make them much smaller now, but try plugging it in the glovebox outlet. You can hide it there with the right fit.

Ugh! I feel like an idiot. I'd completely forgotten about that one! Sheesh. Thanks, though. That's a great idea.

Putting the transmitter in the glovebox outlet worked like a charm. Thanks for the suggestion.

Well I’ll be dipped. I had no idea that was there. Now I can close my ashtray, thanks!

I tried using the glovebox as an ashtray but the wife objected. :-P

It might have the range to plug into the rear outlet back of the front seats. I use that for USB cables.
I got an FM transmitter but don't use it, sort of have to dedicate to it to the exclusion of the rest of the audio system. If wanting it just for hands-free phone anyway.
