Default Body Kits and Wald Industries

So I am curious if anyone has purchased and or installed a Wald, Jaguar XJ Black Bison Edition kit. This includes the front and rear bumpers, side skirts, decklid spoiler and some other tidbits I have no interest in.

I love the rear setup with its defuser and the front bumper with the LED's. I have wanted to do a body kit on a 350 body and this one really interested me. I emailed them for pricing info and availability.

Thoughts ?? anyone have one ?? install one ??? like or dislike ??

I came across that whilst looking at XJ X358 pics recently on google, absolutely love it.
Looks mean and downright gorgeous imo

Thumbs down

Takes away from the classiness of the car, IMHO.

This really makes the car look sporty. Many may not like, but it dresses up the car in my opinion.
How much is this kit? My Audi A8 came with an old JE Design bumper, side skirts, rear trim, spoiler, and quad tip cat-back exhaust. It would be hard to buy a stock one after having this. But the economics, 12K for kit, paint, and installation. This actually lowered the resale value.

Looks OK, but with what used X350's sell for this would be a waste of money IMHO. Then again if you've got about $10-15K burning a hole in your pocket why not.

I like it. Looks kinda like the m5/m3 bumpers of the same era, bar the leds and such.

Anyone who ever gives me a complement on the xjr always states how;

"That looks like a true Jaguar, beautiful." Then usually, "some of the newer ones don't have that look."

So I would take that for what it is worth, very nice kit though, but holy expensive.

Check out J-Complete.

I got quotes for both the Wald and the J-Complete kits a couple of years back.

Crazy money...i'll see if I can dig them up in my old emails.

There are a few threads on the forum about both options.

As much as I want to say it looks cool, I've been there too. Nothing like sitting so low that I can't pull into Starbucks!

So I finally talked with the US rep for Wald and the kit (minus the roof spoiler) will run me about $5500.. plus shipping from CA to AZ. While expensive it is a sweet looking bolt on kit. Mind you it still needs to be painted but have owned body shops since the 80's, and can still paint, that's not as expensive for me as others. I will say the kit retail is over 8K which to me makes it overpriced but at 5500 I can justify it for promotional purposes and well I think it looks awesome and I would have the only one in AZ that looks like it.

Default May need it.

My daughter is going to drive my 2006 XJR. The original front and rear may need replacement soon.

A. What are you going to do about exhaust? ( will have to reroute it for sure )

B. Does it fit on an X350?
