Question bolting torque for oil screw ?

Summertime is near, so I want to give my jag a change of engine oil.

I read through jtis, but I couldn't find the torque for tightening the oil screw.
Is there a torque specification somewhere ?

I think 'just tight enough' so it does not leak would be fine.
If you damage the sealing washer or strip the threads from the plug or pan, then it is TOO TIGHT.

I don't remember if there is a torque spec written for the drain plug?????

SNUG IS GOOD.

Yes there is. From JTIS: Oil pan drain plug 25nm 18flbs

Search Torque Specs for oil pan.
