Default boot lining panels fitting

Do the ends of the side panels in the boot go below or above the center panel at the front of the boot? My side panel ends are below the center panel and they don't fit very well and leave a visible gap. I expect they were removed to install the non-dealer XM radio that came in it.

Excellent question. Found it on search for same.

Dealer sealed trunk area under water leak in boot TSB and I noticed it was not buttoned back up the same.

Looking in from rear right side is under center piece tucked nicely and the left side is on outside leaving a gap.

To my eye, both flaps should be underneath center piece. I just need to find out if the round clips are screw ins or pop ins as the trunk is so nice I do not want to destroy it from the get go.

The round clips are pop ins and there are (to my knowledge) only two up top and a couple by the audio compartment (or there are on mine!). I expect the rubber seal provides pressure to the lining as it sits within to keep it all tight.

Thanks. by underneath the center piece am I correct in assuming you mean above the center panel between the center panel and the body?
