Default boot release

Could use a pictorial on boot release servo, electrical testing. Not even urgent as the key opens trunk. That and the rear proximity system mostly emits a constant beep in reverse. Utterly smitten w this Jag.,the first after 15 years. In a class of uno, break out the cliqous as necessary.

If you are sure it is the boot release lock that's at fault just replace it.

I had constant beep, it was two faulty sensors. Drop rear bumper and

with system running replace until noise stops.

PS Love Cliqqers too!

Sometimes the backup works correctly. Want to check continuity before replacement. How do you get to it?

Thanks!

drones.???????

Could be a problem with the sounder, it's on the rear parcel shelf but

can be accessed for testing from rear light wiring.

Thanks. Gonna try and pull fuse f32. When this car is registered, it needs some actual use!
