Brake pads for Super V8 Brembo

Getting close to end of life on my second set of Brembo pads and ready to make the plunge into dust free brakes!
I have heard good things of both Akebono & EBC but the Akebonos are a LOT cheaper than EBC. Not that I am being stingy, but I suspect there is not that much of a difference. IF there is, someone please point it out.
My two questions are, searching multiple databases is yielding different Akebono part numbers which leaves me wondering what are the correct ones.
Front EUR938
Rear EUR592 or EUR1095
Hopefully someone who has used them can shed some light as to the correct ones to use.
And my second question is, are there any special techniques or tools required to changed the pads on Brembo Calipers?
