C1175 wheel speed rear left circuit failure

I have just changed a faulty ABS sensor on the rear left for a new one. It has cleared all ABS, Gear Box faults etc. However the engine management light is still on with the code: C1175 wheel speed rear left circuit failure. This can't be cleared. Very confused. Does anyone have any ideas please? Thanks

If its a second hand item move it to the other side, I recon its a duff item. Was there signs of damage to the face of the sensor as the reluctor ring can expand due to rust and this damages the sensor.

Thanks Joe. Amazingly after several cycles and drives it has miraculously cleared. Hopefully it stays like that, but if not I will definitely swap them over! Thanks
