Can pair xenon headlamp with non-xenon
I have a 08 XJ VDP. The plastic on the drivers side headlamp got cracked. Maybe a rock on the interstate, who knows. The turn signal works and the brights. But the xenon lights don't work.
To replace the entire assembly is more than $1500.
The replace with a non-xenon is $500.
Could I pair a non-xenon with a xenon and would that look terrible?
Any thoughts on my predicament would help. I can't drive at night unless I have the brights on, lest I get pulled over.

The lamp lenses look very different so the styling would be off
Also the colour of the halogen light is yellow as compared to the hid which is probably going to get you fined for a defective vehicle
Either replace the broken unit or but 2 halogens in
Either way have the same lamps both sides
Cheers
