2008 xjr, with mic, with bin check HAS Bluetooth...of course in 08 I believe all NA cats did. But when I push phone button message reads "no phone fitted"

I'm thinking I need dealer to check module that is not working unless someone knows something I can do to wake it up or reset it..
In trunk only 2 black boxes...one NAv I guess and other ??

Again..08 jag bought in Canada and I just brought her home to Vegas.

Have you paired your phone to the car

 

Cannot pair...push phone button...says phone not fitted..no discovery mode or anything. Just one text line. I have 08 SV8... should be same.

Maybe some enterprising individual yanked the module out?
Do you have nav?

 

Had the same problem, new phone module in the trunk cured it.
