Carroll Shelby Sig
I found what appears to be a felt type pen signature by Carroll Shelby on the engine of my 05 Super V8. I had it authenticated, but it is very faded. Is this on them all, or is it a one off?

 

Never heard of . Maybe he tried your car . Check if he was still alive back then.

 

He died in 2012 RIP

 

Sounds like PO was somewhere, car show or ??? and so was Carroll. He was known to sign a lot of things, some didn't even have to do with cars. So we may not know the circumstances of how or why he signed it, but we have the proof!

Jay Leno joked that the real money might be in the stuff he didn't sign, apparently he signed everything he touched. Still, never seen a Jag with it so if it's legit, there may be a value, or at least an interesting story.

 

The signature sure looks like it is a Shelby signature, right down to the little crossbar at the bottom. Do you have a carfax for your car?
