Default Cats hate cold weather?

I have noticed that my cat appears to hate cold weather; it will do just about anything (electrical or mechanical) to prevent us from venturing out in the cold. A week ago, it wouldn’t leave the driveway. Took it out for a walk yesterday, it kept winking to all strangers! Bad Kitty! It did the same last winter. I took the Goat out this morning, no issues at all! The Goat sounds better to! Has a very distinct American rumble to it. Time to go…..

Thumbs up

Well, well, my Cat is behaving good after this post. Even at 28 degrees!

Assume you mean 28F and not 28C
A really cold morning here is about 15C (59F) and I never see any difference other than I'm using the seat heaters. I sometimes get a slight surge in trans till the temp gauge starts moving up.

So it must be something below those temps. Seems strange though I'd expect more issues in host climates like here OZ and South Africa.

Does your cold climate model have a fuel burning heater?
I have one in the R75 and would like to fit one if the Jag has that option.

Cheers

in New Hampshire, with my XJR, the temperature gauge warms up slowly unless you are driving. The seat and steering wheels heaters work great. And yes the car does sound a bit more throaty in the cold weather. So its a little lighter on the throttle until the temp gauge starts to move.

Yes, I did mean 28 degrees F.

I do not have a "Cold Weather" model as there is no fuel burning heater on my VDP.
Was that an option?

I don't know if a FBH is fitted in some markets.
If it is i'd get started on fining one a retro fit

Cheers

Mine punished me for leaving it out of the garage one cold snowy night with the Nav screen rolling and flickering like an old tv.

Left my Cat out last night, no issues at all. I should stop pushing my luck?
