So inspired by the guys in the X308 section https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...oup-buy-88366/ i'm wondering who's interested on getting clear lenses for their X350?

It's two different sets depending on which year you have.

The ones from the bumpers, which are orange reflectors on UK/ROW models, or actual lights (orange front, red rear) for NA models.



The beauty is, if you go for clears the left front & right rear are the same part, ditto for the right front & left rear.

I'd suggest we get the lit versions made clear, and for those of us outside of NA just plug the hole for the bulb.

For the early (up to 2005MY) cars the side indicators are in orange.



There is a different part for left & right side, but could be that one fits in the other, just the position of the mounting clips is switched.

The 2006MY X350 has oval lenses that are already available in clear from Adamesh.

Pricing based on the X308's is;

Bumper inserts $170.00 per set of 4
Side indicators $90 per pair

So who's interested? Put your name down for indicators, bumpers or both.

 

honestly, id skip the clear lenses and try to get a full chrome coverup.

i dont think the clear lens would look nice at the end of the chrome edge, but i do believe they sell a full chrome edge....which makes it cleaner

 

Nope, there is no one-piece, full bumper insert available for the XJ.

I've already vinyl-chrome-wrapped the reflectors in the bumpers on mine, you can't do that with the indicator on the fender though...



What I really want is to replace the side indicators with clear lenses, since they are the only bit of orange left on the car now.

Some people, esp. in USA/CAN who want to keep the sidelights for legal reasons, might be interested in getting the bumper lights done clear with coloured bulbs/LEDs.
