My heat takes a while to come up. My fan is always on 3/4 high and in order to maintain a cabin temp of 74 deg I have to set the temp controls at 89 or hi. Turning the ac manually off helps. on auto the fan blows cold air from dash vents constanly. Any ideas? Also where is the interior temp sensor located and where is the coolant heater valve located so I can check those first? I have a 2005 XJ Super V8. Thanks love this forum!

There is no coolant heater v/v on this Jag.
Check aux coolant p/p is running and monitor matrix in/out temps in engine bay.
Possible blocked or partially blocked matrix-usually heat on one side only when
this happens.
Failed temp sensor very uncommon on this Jag.
Lots of info if you search this forum.
