Made it , barely to a parking lot. Loud clunking noise as you can hear in video when gas is pushed but no movement. My thoughts are driveshaft, CV, Jurid or a combo which are all somewhat cheap. Is anyone familiar with the noise and if so, how bad?

All right, I had that issue before and honestly I never got to know what it was. The first time was like 5 years ago just a few months after buying the car. I took it to the dealership so they could fix it because it was still under warranty. They never told me what really was, I told them it was probably the transmission but they assured me it was not and also told me it was an easy fix.

I think it could be the same problem because I noticed that your indicator lights (D, P, N, R, etc.) blink shortly before the kick/ noise.

Then back in 2020 I had the same issue, since I moved to another city I couldn't take it to the dealership again, so I started to search and test different stuff. (I had a lot of time because the pandemic situation)

I had a bad battery, I also replaced the spark plugs. Eventually the problem was fixed but I can't tell exactly what it was. That hasn't happened again.

But I think it was an electric problem other than the engine or transmission itself.

Others more experienced might have a better idea of this issue.

 

Thank you. Got it towed from the gas station to the nearest garage, which is a Saab specialist of all things for him to put on the lift Monday. Hopefully something simple but if not off to the dealership because if I don't pay JLR a ton of cash a month I feel like I am missing something in my life

 

Run a scan to see what pops up. I suspect Mechatronic seal.
