Have done a lot of searching to find out the direction to rotate the rear brake piston on my 2007 xj8, Have read that someone says both sides are turned clockwise, then I saw someone say the drivers side is counter clockwise and the passenger side is clockwise, I have the correct tool but would like some advice before I start, thanks in advance,

Both are clockwise - they both turn the same direction to retract.
