convert halogen oem headlight OEM xenon head lights?to re

Are these direct swap or requires extensive modifications? I can get my hand on a cheap set of oem Xenon headlights from a 2004 XJR. I have the standard 2004 XJ8.

Not a straight swap.

If all you want is brighter, use brighter bulbs.
