Coolant leak found!

Coolant leak found!
Hi All,
New to this forum, I currently own a 2005 XJ X350 Sovereign and am experiencing a number of problems.
1. After loosing around 1.5 litres of coolant in around 2/3 days,I could not see any apparent leaks.
I checked the obvious places, Coolant bottles and hoses etc until I found the source of the leak after using K-Seal.
The pictures below show where you can see the coolant mixed with the k seal leaking.
From what I have found on the net it seems to be the water outlet piece.
Has anyone come across this issue before?
2. Also I know have the frequent air suspension fault light illuminating.
I have stripped down and checked the air compressor and it seems to be making a substantial amount of pressure and the car lowers and rises upon start as it should do.
Once the fault message appears usually after 10/15 mins of driving the ride seems to be more harsh!
any help would be much appreciated
Thanks in advance
Phil

Hi Phil,
Welcome to the Jaguar Forums! It's great to have you with us.
I can't tell from the photos where the leak is. On our '04 a small pinhole leak developed in one of the hoses under the coolant reservoir. The leak was spraying upward onto the bottom of the reservoir. It was difficult to tell where the coolant was coming from until one night I put the car on ramps, left the engine running and crawled underneath. Using a flashlight, I was able to see the very small stream of coolant emerging from the hose. If you do this, be very careful not to touch any rotating components or belts.
Regarding your air suspension, there is a lot of information available in this forum. As clifton advised, it will help you avoid a lot of guesswork if you have the Diagnostic Trouble Codes scanned. The air suspension codes are mostly Chassis (C) and Network (U) codes, which can only be read by a system capable of reading Jaguar proprietary codes. Standard OBDII scanners can only read the Powertrain (P) codes, so you'll either need to go to a mains agent or a good independent with the proper system.
To gain a better understanding of the air suspension, you can download the Air Suspension section from the Dealer Training manual here:

You can download the DTC Summaries manual here:

You can download the X350 Workshop Manual in six sections here:
Table Of Contents
General Information
Chassis
Powertrain
Electrical
Body
And I highly recommend you download and install the Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalog. You can find the download link and setup instructions here:
