Coolant leak from the rear of the engine
I understand there is two coolant lines running below the supercharger and one of them has gone to heaven. Is there a write up somewhere that gives a step by step for this repair? I'm a decent mechanic I have the throttle body removed and the intake elbow is loose. The exhaust pipe running up to the egr valve is keeping me from removing the elbow. I can nor access the bolts. What do I do???
Thanks.
Thanks.

Have a look at the above.
I have had my super charger off several times. First time is difficult.

I have the smallest pulley on mine and many in this forum say it overspins the super charger and therefore the smaller, not the smallest, pulley is a better bet.
You should at least change the oil in the supercharger as it is easier to do while out.
Servicing the SC would be a good idea if it is higher mileage. It is an easy enough job.
The jury is out as to hp gains you might see. One issue is heat generated as the SC spins at higher revs.
You should also clean out the SC coolers as they are likely carboned up with "soft" carbon deposits.
This would be especially true if your throttle body elbow looks to be at all gunked up.
I added an oil catch can to help prevent carboning up as well as a meth/water injection system for the same reason.
My throttle body elbow and charge coolers were in a very bad state at around 103,000.
