Coolant temperature sensor

Hi Joseph,
The coolant temperature sensor on the NA version of the car is in the thermostat housing which is on the front top of the engine. The sensor has a wire and connector attached to it and it is on the right hand side of the thermostat housing. The sensor can be changed without changing the whole housing as well.
For info the thermostat is also part of the thermostat housing.
The whole housing cracks and starts to break down so can cause leaks and coolant issues. This is a common problem. So if you are looking to change the temp sensor then it might be worthwhile changing the whole housing as they come with a new thermostat and temp sensor for cheaper than buying each element individually.
Thanks,
Chris

Sorry for the misdirection, of information, names of things sometimes gives me problems.
Replacing the thermostat with the housing as a unit is how mine was replaced,
Had a couple pulled from old housings laying around.
Think i pitched them after seeing how cheap they were.
