I had an issue with my remote after the battery died. Before the battery died, remote always worked fine. You can read details of the previous thread here:

So, I still had issues with the remote. It would unlock the driver door, but second push never would work, had to use key to unlock the rest of the doors. But it would lock and unlock the car.
I decided to buy a new remote and new battery, However, I'm having the same programming issues!
I follow the procedure. Get the beeps. I get out of the car, and can use remote to lock door. Then, it wont open door. It works one time. second push of button doesn't work. Driving me nuts.
Anyone else have similar issues with programming remote? Its brand new and new bat.

To follow up, after buying a new remote, and still having the same problems I had before, I was working on something else that required battery disconnect.
After I was done working, the next day, I noticed the remote had started to work normally again.
So a battery disconnect fixed the remote issue I was having.
YAY!
