Default Cycling the Suspension Compressor?

Is there any way to make the compressor kick in? On a recent trip to the tire store, my front end rides lower than the rear...After the car came off the lift, the compressor cycled but the front is lower than the rear...Is there a way to reset this? Or let the air out so both sides can level?

Thanks!

that happens when you let the car down on a lift partially to where the suspension height sensors adjust the car down since it thinks its to high(not wheels hanging it know the difference) They either need to keep the wheels off the ground, or all the way down weight on the suspension. But the car shouldhave come upo after you started and drove but sometimes you have to cycle the key a few times and drive slowly...Never a good idea to drive with the airsprings sitting the car down and theres no cushion for road inmpact and mechanical damage can result

Where are the switches that trigger the compressor cycle located? Can they be "fooled" into turning on the compressor? The fuses, F6 and F12 are OK

it should do it automatically, unless you have other issues. try rebooting the car by a hard reset
Disc negative battery terminal, touch to still connected postive. This disharges the capacitors(little batteries) in the ecu's to make them go to default settings and work again...yes just like your PC or laptop they "lockup" too and a hard reset fixes more issue with ecu's than people know...not all but as a tech many times this is on the top of the diag. list of things to do...and NO it does fry anything, rememeber your high school science class...you dont have a complete circuit.

I tried that first...I have a BMW745i - that procedure takes care of a lot of gremlins in the Bimmer. Did nothing for the Jaguar. I'll have to put it up on the lift and look around the bottom, maybe something is wrong.
