Default Dead battery issue. 2004 VP

Went out to my Cat this morning, and it wouldn't start. The key fob unlocked the doors, lights on, but the car wouldn't turn over. Just a clicking sound. Now, none of the lights work, wipers, door locks, ETC. When I put the key in, the information flickers, tells me my door is open. I can still hear a clicking noise when I turn the key, but nothing else. Is there a switch that I need to reset? And if so, where is it located?

Have you tried charging the battery?

No, I haven' yet. Thought it was odd that taking the key out, and inserting it again, nothing works now. I know some jaguar's have a switch that need's to be reset, because the exact same thing will happen. Not sure if the 2004 does.

Forgot to mention. The car never made any sound, rather than the clicking of the starter. No cranking, ETC.

Yeah, I probably will just do that. The car is a nice one. 40,837 miles on it.
