Dealer help?
Okay, so sometime last year my sunroof broke. I took it to Jaguar and they put it back up, however did not replace the track (they wanted to charge me $2000+) Well not soon after, EVERYTHING electronical started going bad. The other day while driving in silence (radio dead) i heard what sounded like water running down the A-pillar. If when Jagaur put the sunroof back in place, but did not seal it. Could that be their fault for my electonics dying? Should I be the one to pay for their mistake? Any help here would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you. -Adam

I think as a matter of principle it should be their responsibility. The hard part will be getting them to agree to since the work was done last year. There are too many other things that could also be blamed and they will probably try and point to anything and everything they can to avoid eating the cost.
Good luck if you choose to push them.

Here is the problem how I see it. You brough the car in for repair of your sunroof. The dealer wanted $2000.00 for the repair which you declined so they just closed it. I surely feel for you but if you delcined a proper repair I don't think you have a case. I do think they should of explained to you what could happen if not fixed properly.
