Default The difference is....

What is the difference between these two parts besides description and price?

C2C1976 / Coolant Hose W/O SUPERCHARGER
and
C2C12952 / Coolant Hose W/SUPERCHARGER

They look the same, connected to the same places, cost...
well, the first one is twice cheaper than second one

Are they interchangeable?
Can C2C1976 used on 2004 XJR?

Okay, but if you look at XJR and XJ8 diagrams, hose is marked as #10 on both
and appears on image to be the same plus C2C1976 says it's good for my VIN G10576

I wonder if anybody have pics of C2C12952 to compare both side by side

Honestly I wood just go to auto zone or local auto parts and get s universal hose for a couple of bucks. Been doing this for all my hoses, except for the valley hose. Better yet you might get lucky, sometimes if you take your old one you may find some molded ones for other cars that may have the same curves and you can cut to fit, a trick muy father thought me on his old hot rods. I did this same thing to replace an elbow hose that connects to the block from thermostat, found a jeep hose that had the same diameter and bend just cut to fit. Faster and cheaper, was up and running same day.

The problem with making one of my own, there is no image of C2C12952 online
to have something to show to parts store or metrics like inner diameter etc.

All I have is very confusing info in this post, which says that C2C1976
according to my VIN # is applicable to 2004 XJRs

You would have to take the old one off and take it with you to the parts store. Unfortunately not easy if it's your only car.

Agreed BlackKat. That's all I did when I customized cars. Just bring in the old hose (or sometimes a flexible copper tubing pre-fitted on center) and they let you in the back where you can search away. I sometimes had to go to two or three stores but always found what I needed.

What gets hairy is when the two ends are different diameters.

That would be my 1 car case, but then again... what about these bents?

Also, what is location of C2C1984?
I'm looking in Tech Guide but can't find it.

That's a heater supply hose I think , if your standing at the front of the car with bonnet open it's on the left hand side between the engine and the inside wing at the front
