Disable auto-dropping passenger mirror?
Greetings. I really dislike this feature, not to mention that i think it resets itself at a higher level than it was previously. Does anybody have a tip to disable it without affecting the functionality of the power mirror? I'm thinking this would have to be accomplished at the shifter somehow, but I don't know. Thanks in advance.

The dealer is NOT the only option if you can find a shop with WDS (for cars up to 2006) or IDS (later years) and reconfigure modules with the 'Dealer Options' capability.
I have WDS and I have reconfigured customers cars to whatever they want!!!
When I worked at the dealer I used to tell the Sales Dept to have the customer come out to the shop for a one time 'get the car the way you want it' session or it is charged to the sales dept or the customer for additional configurations.
There was a shop owned/run by Andrew in Ohio (jagtechohio or something like that) that has a WDS so he might be able to help. He has not posted in a while but still might be available.

Of course you are correct. I should have said, "You can't do it yourself, you need a proprietary device or access to one". My local indy has one and he wants $80 to plug it in.
