Default Does SDD require XP Pro?

I've tried to install V125 and V130 on my Sony VAIO with XP home, SP 3, 32bit operating system, and after starting the install both pop a window to say they are not supported in my operating system and the install will shut down.

Do I have to have XP Pro and do I have to set up a virtural machine? (I believe virtural machine option is not available for XP Home but only for XP Pro).

I'd really like to set the SDD up on the Sony so I can keep my Toshiba with Win7 64bit for general purposes like accessing this forum.

I do believe it has to be pro. The virtual part is not required in the XP Pro 32bit version because SDD is native to it.

There is a fellow near me who offers either Win7 Ultimate or XP Pro for $25. Here's his listing on Craig's List:

Windows 7 Ultimate or XP Pro - Install Disk - With Activation - $20 (Tulsa)

THIS IS LEGIT AND IT HELPS PEOPLE USE OLD COMPUTERS - ALL CUSTOMERS ARE SATISFIED.

Offering a two disk set for Windows 7 Installation/Upgrade with re-useable Activation Software Included - $20
Windows XP Install/Upgrade Single disk with re-useable activation code - $20

First disk is a DVD with 48 different Windows 7 versions with brand specific and general OEM installations in either 32 or 64 bit - mostly of 7 Ultimate.
Can be used to update previous Windows versions to 7 or a complete wipe and re-install with partitioning options.
Second disk is activation software, will activate your install and load in activation code so the software will update. Can also work to fix other Win7 installs that are showing the MS "not genuine" message, or re-install Win 7 on a computer that was Win 7 but you have lost the COA for whatever reason.

I also offer a bootable custom build CD copy of Windows XP Pro with service pack 3 bundled in for the same price. Re-useable enterprise Product key included.

These are multi-use enterprise/system builder copies so you can get as many computers going as you need. You will need some knowledge and experience in OS installation for this, no tech support is included with this sale.
I have used this on many many computers and know it works well for any model that is running correctly.

If you are outside of the Tulsa area I can accept PayPal payments and ship within the lower 48 states. Cost for this service is an additional $5 to cover shipping costs and PayPal fees.

For other reasons, (I'd like to set up my Toahiba to dual boot to Win7 or XP Pro for other software I have that needs a dongle that is not supported beyond XP), I am leaning toward XP Pro for the Sony, But for the SDD software is XP Pro or Win7 Ultimate 32 bit the best choice?
