Default Does the X350 cause radio interference?

Trivial thing, but has anyone else noticed or experienced the following?

It took me awhile to notice the pattern, but if my wife's X350 VDP is in its slot in the garage, the garage door remote in my XJS doesn't work until I'm nearly hitting the door with the front bumper. However, if her car is gone, the remote works normally all the way from the end of the driveway.

I thought it was a battery at first, but after replacement it was the same. Once I noticed the pattern, the remote's effectiveness is directly related to whether or not the VDP is in the garage.

Odd...?

I would erase the captured code in your car and do a recoding. Is your garage opener a newer rolling code type? Pressing the two HomeLink outer buttons at the same time until the red light blinks quickly erases the stored code (codes) . Some openers require a reset button be depressed on the opener itself before capturing a new code.
