DPF Advice
A few weeks ago I was getting the dreaded RP light on longer journeys and fault codes relating to glow plug module and MAF inputs. I changed the MAF sensors and on the latest long journeys (4x 150 miles) no RP light. Although I never had any lights or codes for DPF, thinking the RP light may have been somehow related to/triggered by DPF regen attempts I plugged in my icarsoft scanner to see what the DPF readings are.
I have:
Total mass of particle soot 294g
Distance since last regeneration 488 miles
Number of failed regenerations 0
Number of partial regenerations 0
95000 miles since DPF last 'cleaned' (car is on 100k miles)
Pre DPF temp sensor 100 degrees C (car is cold)
Does any of that look odd? I've no idea how frequently it should regen or how many grams of soot is 'normal'..?

Sensitive topic.
some do a egr and dpf delete with power optimisation
Up to 250hp and 540nm of torque( wich is as strong as the xjr .)
some just ad a product to the tank for dpf cleaning wich just raises temp to burn of the particles that slide in deeper into the dpf filter.
best way at that mileage is to get them a deep clean baking in a special oven to get everything to come out of the filter.
depending on where you live. There is one company in Germany that does that . if I find the video I ll send it

Since dpf particle burning on xj tdvi is done from my understanding with diesel.
always have a good look it your oil level . If it rises there might be diesel dillution of your oil. Smell your oil if it smells diesel get an oilchange quickly. This is one of the reasons why 2.7 tdvi can have a breakdown
