Default Dragging Front Wheel

I have a 2005 XJ8L and noticed the other day while cleaning the wheels, that the left front wheel does not turn as freely as the right.

Thinking the caliper pins might be gummed up and not letting the break calipers move as they should, I checked and all was good and free. I wonder now that- -is it possible (I know, anything is possible) that the wheel bearing might be two tight and if so, what is the proper tq. for the nut, or do I do as for years, just set it so the wheel is free to turn with little or no resistance?

Comments?

Cheers.

Listen for noise as you turn the wheel. The fronts are ball bearing and not roller bearing like most cars. May be time to replace.

Rebuild the front calipers. Square cut piston seal kits (this is the device responsible to retract the piston back into the caliper) are around $7. You also need to check the hub itself. Use Toyo type III front hub, as that is the OE.
