Default Engine Failure Code

Hello,

While driving home today my 2005 Vanden Plas showed "engine failure" then said "no disk breaks" and "parking break faulty" and the car started to run very rough. I pulled over turned the car off waited a couple of minutes then started the car and drove home with no problems until I reached my driveway and all started again. Can any one please let me know whats going on or how to fix this. Thanks in advance Joe

The Jaguar electronics are very sensitive to battery voltage. First thing I would do is to have a local auto parts store do a diagnostics (free) check on your battery/charging system. The cars will start at voltage marginal to running the electronics.

With that out of the way there are other potential issues.
