Engine fuse box swap

Engine fuse box swap
Greetings,
One of the non-fixable relays has blown in my 2005 XJ8 so I am looking to replace it with one from ebay. The serial number on mine is 2W93-14A073-AH, there are a few on ebay that look exactly the same but have a slightly different serial number, 2W93-14A073-AE or 2W93-14A073-AF. Does anyone know if these are interchangeable or am I going to be disappointed with anything but the AH?
Cheers, Mark

I looked into a new underhood fuse box a while back, and was told the part needs to match as well as be the correct year to ensure compatibility. I would think it only has to do with option configuration on the car. NOt sure if you looked into this already, but you can replace those internal relays. There are some old threads on this board with a how-to.

I also need to repair this distribution box. My supercharger coolant pump supply failed, and after investigating an attempted repair by the previous owner that was completely mis-directed, I found that relay R16 had failed. In the thread mentioned below, a work around with an external relay was discussed, and this has been successful for me.
For those of us on the other side of the world, Jaguar parts are rare and expensive, especially for modern ones like ours. I was quoted about $NZ 500 for a used front distribution box.
The thread is from 21/3/17 by member 34by151 and is entitled 'Front Power Distribution Fuse Box'.
The internal relays are by Tyco and are V23076 and V23084 types.
They are now obsolete, but I bought some copies at a very low price from China that appear to be of usable quality.
In due course I will replace all the internal relays in the front distribution box.
