Hello, I am interested in upgrading my engine in my 2005 XJ8 Vanden Plas with a 4.2l Supercharged engine. If there is a thread on this subject, could someone direct me to it for research purposes. Thx

 

No thread that I am aware of however it is well known that the supercharged car has MANY items that are for the supercharged car and that would be needed for the swap.

Such as the transmission, ECU and other "smart" items/ sensors etc.

A huge amount of work.

 

Thx, it will probably be cheaper to buy a Supercharged model than swap.

 

MUCH cheaper !!
