I have one and the most compliments I get on it is the colour combination, yes from men too. If you like it, buy it if it is in good condition.

are they Gay men?

Thanks everyone for your input. I like this color alot, it's not feminine just delicate or soothing. Now that I think about it didn't they paint the Series 1 and X300 XJs a very similar color?

Yes they did. This color was used mostly on the XJ and S-Type models. It was used rarely, maybe one year(2003), on the XK model. Very rare to find one.

I personally like it and I''ll drive any car in any color that I darn well like. Call it what you want but I don't let others dictate what color my car should or should not be based on their views of masculinity.

I think that's the right attitude. F anyone and everyone who doesn't like the color of your F*ing car, seriously!

Personally I like dark colors on the X350 but dark colors are high-maintenance. YMMV etc.

I have the sea frost color on my XJ8 as well. At first I didn't like the color, but I bought it because the mileage was very low and so was the deal I got. Later I received a lot of compliments on the color from girls and guys and many of my friends said they loved the color. After a few weeks it grew on me and now I really love this color. I prefer the darker colors, but I'm happy with it and there are not many Jags this color on the road.

It's not my favorite color but I wouldn't call it feminine. However, the gold is a grandpa car.

It's not a matter of if the color is fem, it's if you can pull it off...so, can you? Are you man enough. ;-)

Imo, Powder coat those wheels black and get some limo tint on that baby and it'll be a sexy beast. Not a big fan personally of the tan interior though.

It's just a lovely colour ! Personally I like the light colours, my last car, a Rover 75 was in Wedgwood Blue metallic. Howver my Jaguar is Jaguar Racing Green, a dark colour. Why ? Well the car was a steal so I decided to buy it; I had been looking at a very light blue X350, and nearly bought that one.

In my experiece, the tan leather wears much better than other colors. I'd love to get a black interior but the seats always look worn out.

the tan does wear better, but you do have to watch for dark stains from clothing transfer. I have a black xkr with tan interior and the former owner must've worn dark cloths often because there's faint greying in the wear creases of the drivers seat. add to that they're the recaro seats so they're more costly than replacing the factory. you also need to check for wear along the lower console from the drivers feet scuffing while exiting the car. all of this aside, tan really does look better in the long run.

Coolr doesn't seem to be the problem. Check under YOUR hood for manhood issues. To even ask that question implies a metrosexual mentality!
