Personally I like dark colors on the X350 but dark colors are high-maintenance. YMMV etc.

I have the sea frost color on my XJ8 as well. At first I didn't like the color, but I bought it because the mileage was very low and so was the deal I got. Later I received a lot of compliments on the color from girls and guys and many of my friends said they loved the color. After a few weeks it grew on me and now I really love this color. I prefer the darker colors, but I'm happy with it and there are not many Jags this color on the road.

It's just a lovely colour ! Personally I like the light colours, my last car, a Rover 75 was in Wedgwood Blue metallic. Howver my Jaguar is Jaguar Racing Green, a dark colour. Why ? Well the car was a steal so I decided to buy it; I had been looking at a very light blue X350, and nearly bought that one.

In my experiece, the tan leather wears much better than other colors. I'd love to get a black interior but the seats always look worn out.

the tan does wear better, but you do have to watch for dark stains from clothing transfer. I have a black xkr with tan interior and the former owner must've worn dark cloths often because there's faint greying in the wear creases of the drivers seat. add to that they're the recaro seats so they're more costly than replacing the factory. you also need to check for wear along the lower console from the drivers feet scuffing while exiting the car. all of this aside, tan really does look better in the long run.
