Firewall - best pass thru for new wires (alarm)
Does anyone have a recommendation for the best place to pass a few wires through the firewall (2006 VDP)? It's obviously a huge pain to see from either side, let alone run wiring (I've done this on many other cars, including dirilling/grommets/silicone).
I'm adding a Viper alarm with a proximity sensor - it will trigger when someone is near the car (had a side window broken by theif)- or motion inside the car. Plus I'm going to add a built in/hidden radar detector.
I'm thinking of placing the alarm brains behind the glove box, and try to run wires near the air intake plastic housing/filter for the cabin air. I'm going to try to put the proximity sensor in middle console between the seats, so the front windows (outside) have good coverage.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Thx

Thank you; this ended up been pretty easy to access. On LHD cars it's to the side of the brake booster, and enters the cabin on the left side of the driver's (left side) footwell.
