Default Fog Lamp removal / replacement

On my 2004 XJ8, I've got a dead fog lamp on the right side. I popped the hood ( bonnet ) to see how hard it is to remove/replace and, wow, I'm totally lost. I don't see any simple or obvious method for removal. Does anyone know of an exploded view or procedure or YouTube video on this? I hate to take it to a mechanic since I prefer doing my own stuff. Same for the headlight, if it ever goes out, I can't see a way to get that out either. This is normally so simple on other cars I've owned.

Here's the JTIS procedure for Front Fog Lamp Removal:

It looks ( perhaps deceptively ) straightforward but then the same can be said about many Jaguar removal procedures which turn out to be anything but simple!

Dudeman44,
I know its hard to believe, but it really is that simple? the cover will be best removed by pressing the top of the cover down and out, you may need a blunt thin tool the help press the tang down to avoid damage.
Two screws and the lamp is out.
Good luck.

Not much of a fog light 'anti-theft' cover is it.

As for the headlight, it is just a bulb you replace from behind the housing. Unless the lens is broken/cracked, you only replace the individual bulb. Simple twist and unlock procedure.

Cheers.

Yes, as it turns out I was able to get to it from behind and it was a fairly simple R&R. Thanks all for the help.
