front bushing question--which one is hydraulic?
I thought the lower front bushing at the very front end (under the radiator) was the hydraulic bushing. Looking at photos at online suppliers, this looks to be just a nylon type bushing in rubber?

Is the lower front inner bushing actually the hydraulic type?

One of my hydrabushes leaked and had to be changed so they must have something in them. There are posts on a Landrover forum that imply there is some sort of viscous silicon fluid in them.
The X350 technical documentation says:
"The lower forward control arm connects to the lateral lower control arm at one end via a ball joint and to the front subframe at the opposite end using hydrabush technology."

I'm not sure--but I'm fairly confident the bushing pictured (in the 1st link I posted above) is not hydraulic. No room for it to be filled with any fluid, it looks like it's mostly a block of nylon.
This is what I was expecting a hydraulic bushing to look like:
And to answer my own question on what the hydraulic fluid is on my car, well that would be a drip from the trans cooler lines Otherwise all my front suspension bushings look perfect. Not even tears in the rubber (unlike the rear bushings).
Looks like my wandering steering is due to tie rod ends with their failed boots. Going to replace all 4 of them I suppose. No point paying for an alignment twice.
