My friend has a 2003 XJ8 and today he asked me does it possible to remove the front right height sensor just like 2004 onward models?
So heres my question: Is it possible to remove it works fine if I replaced a 2004 air suspension control module? Or i have to replaced the ECU?
Just can not figure out its about ECU or ASM.
But if I reprogram a 2004 onward ASM into his early model, the setting will be for the early model, maybe ECU desides the setting of ASM?

let me clear it to say, there are 4 height sensors on early 2003 models and 2004 onward has only 3.
So my friend want to make his 2003 XJ8 into newer version with 3 height sensors.
What is the best way to do except for buying a new car. Swap a ECU or ASM?
